Bored at Half Term? Come down to Betty’s Farm just off the A38 for half term Farm Fun. Collect eggs to take home, have a behind the scenes tour of the farm and meet our animals. Join us Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of half term at 11am by our chicken.
Love eggs? Come to Betty’s Farm on Saturday October 14th to celebrate World Egg Day. Join us from 10am-3pm for stalls, pony rides, bouncy castle, face painting, activities, farm tours and MORE to entertain you and all the family. Our Farm Shop, Butchery and Cafe will be open as normal, so pop in and see us.

Have you ever wanted to collect your own eggs and decorate an egg box?

Would you like to feed, greet and walk with the animals around the farm?
Stroke the goats, walk with the sheep, talk with the llama, pet the horses?
See the bee hives and chatter with the chickens, all in the company of a passionate expert
Have you always wanted to hold a chicken or stroke a guinea pig?
Take a cow, sheep, pig and chicken Or a farm animal home?
Earn a “I met Betty the chicken” certificate for colouring, a Tractor Ted sticker and have a child’s ice-cream cone?
Then come to Betty’s Farm on Fridays during the school holidays. We are open every day but the above activities will be available every Friday, from July 28th.
• Egg collecting – 10am – 12 noon (includes a box of free range eggs) £2 per child
• Small animal petting, chicken holding, Orifarmi animals and certificate (includes a small ice cream and Tractor Ted sticker) 12 – 1pm £2 per child
• ‘Meet the Animals Walk’ at the Farm (includes 2 pots of animal feed) 1.30pm £2 per child.
To take part in all the activities on the day the total cost is only £5 per child. Accompanying adults can watch and walk for free. The play area, Farm Shop and café will also be open and anyone buying a child’s eat in or take-out picnic bag (includes sandwich, drink, crisps or sweet treat) can have a tea or coffee for £1 on fun-filled farm Fridays.
